Solum Ambiental is committed to safeguarding your privacy and protecting your personal data. Your privacy is important to us, and therefore we want you to feel comfortable and secure while visiting our websites and using any of the tools we provide. Therefore, we emphasize our concern for the correct and ethical handling of your personal data.

For all intents and purposes, this document, entitled "External Privacy Notice," applies to the processing of personal data carried out by Solum Ambiental, is directed to individuals who interact with the Solum Ambiental website and applications, and establishes how their data will be processed (physically or digitally) by the company.

General considerations regarding the processing of Personal Data on the Solum Ambiental website and applications

Our website may direct you to partner channels so that you can carry out the actions necessary to comply with the program; in these cases, our partners may collect your personal data. If you are directed to a Solum Ambiental partner's portal, we suggest that you also read their Privacy Notices. 

Similarly, when you contact our Customer Service, agents may request personal information to verify your identity and thus ensure your security while assisting you and providing the information you request. In any case, this information will be treated with due confidentiality and respect for your privacy.

What Personal Data we collect and how we collect it

The amount and type of information collected by Solum Ambiental varies depending on how you use its services. 

The Personal Data processed by Solum Ambiental as a result of our activity will be processed for the following purposes:

  • Allow the user to contact Solum Ambiental through the available contact channels;

  • Allow the sending of communications;

  • Invitations to exclusive events promoted or supported by us;

  • Promoting our courses;

  • For the fulfillment of contracts with suppliers, service providers, and third-party contractors.

 

The processing of any personal data provided to Solum Ambiental will be based on the legal grounds indicated in Article 7 of the LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law). 

 

We may collect sensitive data to provide customer service; the processing will be based on one of the hypotheses foreseen in article 11 of the LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law). 

 

The processing of data from children and adolescents, when necessary, will be carried out in accordance with the law and, when applicable, based on the consent of the guardian of children under 12 years of age. 

Information collected automatically on the Website and Applications 

In addition to the data mentioned above, the Site may automatically collect, process, and store data such as URLs, IP addresses (with date and time), pages accessed, searches performed, browsers used by the User, access time, number of "clicks" or "downloads," survey results, among others. 

The aforementioned Personal Data will be processed for the following purposes: 

  • Comply with legal obligations regarding the maintenance of access logs;

  • To allow for the continuous technical improvement of our Site, correcting errors, better adapting the content to the most commonly used devices, and verifying the overall performance of our Site;

Regarding the retention and termination of the processing of your Personal Data 

 

In accordance with current legislation, Solum Ambiental uses your Personal Data for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes for which your Personal Data was collected, as described in this External Privacy Notice, or to comply with applicable legal or regulatory requirements. 

 

Personal data used to provide you with a personalized experience will be kept exclusively for the time permitted by applicable law. 

It is important to highlight that, once the purpose of the processing has been fulfilled, the contract terminated, or your request received, or after compliance with a legal order from a regulatory authority or other competent authority, the data processing will be terminated, and retention will only occur if technical and administrative information security measures have been previously applied, and for the purpose of serving the Controller's interests, such as the possibility of exercising its defense in future administrative or judicial proceedings, or ensuring compliance with legal or regulatory provisions. Once the periods during which any of these events may occur have expired, the data will be securely and permanently deleted. 

 

Regarding the sharing and transfer of your Personal Data 

 

The storage and processing of data collected by the Solum Ambiental website or applications may be delegated to specialized service providers, who are contractually obligated not to use any information for their own benefit, nor to pass it on to third parties, and are also obligated to provide secure treatment of your personal data in accordance with the purpose for which said processing is intended.

Solum Ambiental takes appropriate measures to ensure that your Personal Data is kept confidential and secure. However, these protections do not apply to information that you have chosen to share in public areas, such as third-party social networks. 

We store your Personal Data in operational environments that use reasonable technical and administrative security measures to prevent any incident related to the security of your personal data. In this regard, any information requested from the User will be collected and stored in accordance with the strictest security and confidentiality standards. 

The protection measures implemented on our Sites include, among other things, procedures against misuse of data, unauthorized access, or accidental or unlawful situations involving the disclosure, communication, loss, alteration, and destruction of information. 

Your Personal Data will be processed by our employees and other authorized individuals, provided that they are committed to confidentiality and need access to the information to process the personal data as needed, depending on the specific purposes for which your Personal Data was collected. 

In any case, we emphasize that any data transmission over the Internet is not completely secure and, as such, is done at your own risk. Although we employ our best efforts to protect your personal data, Solum Ambiental cannot guarantee the absolute security of personal data processed on the Internet. 

In compliance with the provisions of the LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law), if any incident occurs with your personal data that poses risks to you and other users, we will notify the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) and may contact you directly whenever necessary, in accordance with the law. In any case, we will immediately take the necessary measures to remedy the situation and restore the security of your personal data. 

Rights

Regarding your rights concerning Personal Data, you can always choose not to disclose your data, but keep in mind that some of this data may be necessary to register on the platform or use some of the features and products offered. Regardless, you will always have rights related to the privacy and protection of your personal data. And, in addition to being concerned about the security of this data, we are also concerned that you have access to and knowledge of all your rights related to personal data, which are:

  • Right to correct data that is incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated;

  • Right to erasure of data processed with your consent;

  • Right to request anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data

  • excessive or handled in violation of the Law;

  • Right to obtain information about public and private entities with which your data has been shared;

  • Right to refuse consent and consequences of refusal;

  • You have the right to file complaints or reports with the Controller of your personal data or with the Regulatory Authority (National Data Protection Authority - ANPD);

  • Right to request a review of decisions made based on automated processing of personal data.

We will respond to all legitimate requests as quickly as possible or within the timeframe stipulated by law. We may also contact you to obtain more information regarding your request in order to expedite our response. If requests are abusive or violate any rights of Solum Ambiental and/or a third party, or if for any other justifiable reason we are unable to fulfill your request, we reserve the right to refuse service with justification, in accordance with the LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law). 

To fulfill your request, we will need to validate your identity in accordance with current legislation. Whenever a request is submitted without providing the necessary proof to verify the legitimacy of the data subject, the request will be rejected. We emphasize that any identifying information provided to Solum Ambiental will only be processed in accordance with current laws.
